Staff was really kind, and the room was really large. It is not in the city centre so you can enjoy some peace while looking at the mountains. There are supermarkets and restaurants just around the corner.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Platanias, Crete. The location couldn't have been better, as it was so close to the beach and the main street. It made it super convenient for exploring and enjoying the beautiful Mediterranean coastline. The staff were absolutely wonderful, always going above and beyond to ensure I had a great holiday. They were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms were basic but clean, with fresh sheets and towels provided regularly. It was great that they had air conditioning, really helped to beat the summer heat. And last but not least, the breakfast was delicious, providing a good start to the day with a variety of options to choose from.
Everything was just perfect.

Marianna the girl at reception was so helpful and friendly, she assisted as promptly with anything that we needed! Also the rooms are very spacious and clean. In general we were very happy with our stay there and would definitely consider visiting again.
That it was a bit distant from the center but nothing major as there are buses that pass right outside the apartments every 15 minutes.

Was calm and quiet place but only few meters from platanias alive center. The walkiing distance to the sea(about 4-5 minutes walkibg acrossing a busy road although). Clean spacious rooms, changing everyday towels etc. No old furniture but not well equipment kitchen. Was very nice. The price (440 euro for 8 nights in the middle of august)was satisfie our expectations..
The steps I was with a baby and it was quite boring!!!

In few words: Clean, roomy, enjoyable! We were 4 in an apartment with 2 balconies, kitchen corner ... everything there. We almost didn't need to use the air conditioner because the room was enough cool. Kids were at the pool and enjoyed it. The hotel is very close to main street of Platanias with loads of Tavernas, Restaurants and Bars/Coffee bars, Super Markets etc. The price was great too for high season! The Beach is not very far ("cross the street") and is a large and wide one with sand.

The hotel is conveniently located near the beach with many taverns and cafes in the area. It's easy to access Chania with a quick 20-minute bus ride just a short walk from the hotel. Guests report clean and spacious rooms, with daily cleaning service. Some rooms come with a kitchenette, AC, and a balcony. the pool and pool bar in the inside yard were a big plus.
The WiFi may be unstable, but it is a common issue throughout the entire area and not specific to the hotel.

Rather close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We had breakfast included in the price and with some complements that was perfect. Lots of parking next to the hotel.
Perhaps to little space for sunbeds by the pool.

Great pool and well-maintained grounds, with a nice bar area. Good location for beach access and walking distance to local restaurants and shops. Appreciated the daily cleaning service and the availability of self-catering facilities in the rooms.
Limited amenities in the rooms, with no TV or phone and only basic kitchen equipment. Some noise from the nearby street and construction work in the area.
